Adlandpro Friday News

Adlandpro Friday News

Starting out this Friday news is a question to those of you who are not on the Wall on a regular basis ( and of course to those who are)..
A Member ( Hafiz) made  a suggestion that the $200.00 credit contest reward be split up among more users. In effect this would mean that everyone who collected a minimum of 600 points would share in the $200.00 reward.
A lot of members have come in and voiced their thoughts and opinions and for that I say thank-you. I feel the more people who come in and talk about these issues, will help in coming up with a good solution for all. This has always been a strong point to Adlandpro, that we can talk to each other and come up with solutions.
My personal opinion is Participation will happen if the thread or the content is of interests to some group of people. Even more if the content or conversation is solving a person’s problem or allowing/encouraging people to voice their opinions on important topics or gives them platform to find like minded people.
Your thoughts are very important so please join this conversation and lets see what we can come up with. The thread to this conversation is here

Image Power

Image power

Image power

Human beings are visual creatures. Just look at signs! Put up a print sign that says, “Curve ahead,” and you might start seeing the number of accidents on that curve going up. Put up a sign with a bent arrow on it, and every normal person slows down.

What do you look for in an airport or on a ferry, when nature makes its urgent call? Right! A silhouette that matches your gender, not a printed sign.

Billboards along the highways have long been a favoured way for companies to advertise. They are big, they are bright, they have large graphics on them and minimal print. Not only is it necessary to keep print to a minimum when cars are roaring along the highway at high speed; it is more likely that their attention will be grabbed and they will remember an image than a lot of print. That’s image power!

Classified Ads – Building Traffic Part 4

Buying triggers

Buying triggers

Free online classified ads are one great way of getting visibility. Online classified sites are ad directories where the content of the ad is provided by the advertiser. By visiting free classified sites, you can submit your free ads and check out other ads of your competitors as well.

The great thing about online advertising is it is multidimensional. You reach people from all walks of life. In addition, it is free and if you find that it isn’t working out, you can just drop it at no cost.
How do classified ads work?

You might have already experienced that you can place ads free or paid and have no response at all. This is nothing unusual or new. Newbie marketers quite often have no basic understanding how advertising works and they don’t realize that with small classified ads, you only have a very short time to catch the attention of the surfer so you have to make those moments count.

Classified advertising tips for affiliates – are you doing it right?

 by Dave Cottrell

Classified advertising has been around for a long time.  Most historians of classified advertising date the birth of printed ads to somewhere in the 1600s, when ads for lost or found items were nailed on posts and walls.  The first classified ads in North America were posted in The Boston News Letter,  in 1704.  The publication charged from 12 pence to 5 shillings to advertise everything from houses to buttons.   The concept did so well that it rapidly spread around the world.

So common is classified advertising, today, that many affiliates and others trying to sell online miss  its importance.  By ignoring classified ads as a way of gaining exposure for their goods  or services, they are missing a very inexpensive and effective way of advertising.  In fact, many online classified ad sites, like Adlandpro offer free classified ads as their basic service.

Free classified advertising on the internet offers exceptionally good exposure.   Whereas in times past, most people were limited to local advertising only, and had to pay for it.  Now, with online classified advertising, you can advertise locally, nationally and even internationally with ease.

Free Online Classified Advertising|The AIDA Formula

Free Online Classified Advertising|The AIDA Formula

Free Online Classified Advertising|The AIDA Formula

What do you think of when you hear the words “Free Online Classified Advertising”?

Does it send a thrill up your back or do you get the chills thinking about creating a free online classified ad?

While many people especially those who are used to the soft sell of social media say that free online classified advertising does not work, the fact is they do and they work very well IF you understand what you are doing.

While we use social media for many reasons such as entertainment, inspiration or education classified advertising is not for pleasure. People read free classifieds because they have an interest in something in particular and people have a preconceived idea of what they are looking for – in other words they have a set goal or criteria in mind.

Adlandpro Traffic Exchange

Adlandpro Traffic Exchange

In the early day of traffic exchanges, they were few in number, and really were just about the only way to get noticed online.

Google didn’t exist, online classified advertising was in its infancy, safelists didn’t exist, and spam was something you either fried or put in a sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo.
