Starting out this Friday news is a question to those of you who are not on the Wall on a regular basis ( and of course to those who are)..
A Member ( Hafiz) made a suggestion that the $200.00 credit contest reward be split up among more users. In effect this would mean that everyone who collected a minimum of 600 points would share in the $200.00 reward.
A lot of members have come in and voiced their thoughts and opinions and for that I say thank-you. I feel the more people who come in and talk about these issues, will help in coming up with a good solution for all. This has always been a strong point to Adlandpro, that we can talk to each other and come up with solutions.
My personal opinion is Participation will happen if the thread or the content is of interests to some group of people. Even more if the content or conversation is solving a person’s problem or allowing/encouraging people to voice their opinions on important topics or gives them platform to find like minded people.
Your thoughts are very important so please join this conversation and lets see what we can come up with. The thread to this conversation is here
Human beings are visual creatures. Just look at signs! Put up a print sign that says, “Curve ahead,” and you might start seeing the number of accidents on that curve going up. Put up a sign with a bent arrow on it, and every normal person slows down.
What do you look for in an airport or on a ferry, when nature makes its urgent call? Right! A silhouette that matches your gender, not a printed sign.
Billboards along the highways have long been a favoured way for companies to advertise. They are big, they are bright, they have large graphics on them and minimal print. Not only is it necessary to keep print to a minimum when cars are roaring along the highway at high speed; it is more likely that their attention will be grabbed and they will remember an image than a lot of print. That’s image power!
Free online classified ads are one great way of getting visibility. Online classified sites are ad directories where the content of the ad is provided by the advertiser. By visiting free classified sites, you can submit your free ads and check out other ads of your competitors as well.
The great thing about online advertising is it is multidimensional. You reach people from all walks of life. In addition, it is free and if you find that it isn’t working out, you can just drop it at no cost.
How do classified ads work?
You might have already experienced that you can place ads free or paid and have no response at all. This is nothing unusual or new. Newbie marketers quite often have no basic understanding how advertising works and they don’t realize that with small classified ads, you only have a very short time to catch the attention of the surfer so you have to make those moments count.
In the early day of traffic exchanges, they were few in number, and really were just about the only way to get noticed online.
